Yes. We use only the official YouTube Data API v3 — not scraping or unofficial methods — so we fully comply with YouTube's Terms of Service. We do not store any personal data from comments on our servers. Your query and results exist only in your browser session.
Yes — YouTube Shorts are standard YouTube videos with a different URL pattern. Paste the Shorts URL (youtube.com/shorts/VIDEO_ID) and the extractor works identically. It also supports youtu.be short links and embedded video URLs.
The YouTube API can only return comments from videos where comments are enabled and publicly visible. Comments may be missing if: (1) the video owner has disabled comments, (2) comments are held for review, (3) YouTube's algorithm has removed or hidden them, or (4) you have reached the 500-comment free limit — increase the limit or upgrade to Pro for more.
